HOW IT WORKS
1 — BOOK YOUR SESSION BY FILLING OUT THE FORM BELOW
The portrait session fee is $699 + HST. If you’re looking to book a group portrait, the form below will ask you to add names. Additional fees apply for group portraits. Please note a limited number of images are included in the session fee (depending on how many people are in your session) and additional images can be purchased once you see your proofing gallery.
2 — STYLING Consult
Once your session is booked we’ll schedule a pre-shoot styling call to discuss why you’ve signed up and what you’re hoping to get out of your session. The styling call will also address the most asked question I get: WHAT DO I WEAR? We’ll discuss how to prepare, how to choose the best outfits, and what to expect from the day.
3 — PHOTOSHOOT
The full photoshoot will be up to 1-2 hours in my backyard studio in Ottawa. The photoshoot will include a variety of wardrobe changes and different backgrounds. Most importantly, I will guide you every step of the way during the shoot in terms of posing and making you feel comfortable. You will have fun, I PROMISE!
4 — FINAL SELECTS!
After your photoshoot I’ll send you a proofing gallery with tons of images to review. From this gallery you will select your final 5-10 images and have the option to purchase more if desired. You have up to 1 year to purchase additional products from your gallery. After one year,the gallery will expire.

THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS
1 - Is the portrait session fee different from the full package of photos I’ll receive?
Yes. The portrait session is $699, which includes hair and makeup for one person and the photoshoot with me. At our reveal meeting, we’ll work together to see which photos you love and how you want to receive them — whether it’s wall art, prints, or digital images. Prints start at $40 for 5x7” or $60 for 8x10”.
2 - I only want digital photos. Can I get just digital files?
Yes! A digital-only package is one of the options available for purchase. Digital images are $100/each. Packages start at: 10 images for $699, 20 for $999, or gallery buy-out, $1999.
3 - Do I have to pay to ship my printED art?
Nope. Shipping is all included.
4 - Where are you hosting Portrait DAYS?
I am planning portrait days in Ottawa for Fall 2022.
5 - What if I have a location that’s special to me? Is it possible for you to shoot on location?
Yes it is - for no extra charge (so long as you are booking in the city and timespan I’m available, I’m happy to come directly to a location of your choice). *This doesn’t apply to specific portrait days that are held on one day in one location (studio).
6 - Is hair and makeup included in my $699 portrait session fee?
Yes, hair and makeup (aka “grooming”) is included for one person in the fee. Additional grooming is $200/person. Grooming is required (trust me on this!). If you have someone you’d prefer to use for hair and makeup let me know and we can coordinate that separately. In this case we will apply a $100 credit to the purchase of a digital package after your shoot.
7 - Can you send my fine art prints as a gift for me?
Yes! If you are commemorating a moment you’d love to share with those near and dear to you — whether it’s photos of your newborn or your 50th birthday — I can ship your photos as a beautiful gift directly to them. We can discuss this during your reveal meeting!
8 - CAN I PAY IN INSTALMENTS?
The session fee (the $699) must be paid for in full in advance of your portrait, but for all product purchases I am happy to offer payment plans. We can discuss this in your reveal meeting. Just ask!
9 - i can’t decide what final images I want right now.
Firstly, I can help! But if you still can’t decide, no problem. You have 1 year from the date of your reveal session to come back to your gallery and purchase images/packages/order prints or wall art. You can also stagger your selections to purchase some now and leave the rest for later to split up the investment.
